Keller & Guerin Signed Mid -19th Century Vase France
An important vase from Keller & Guerin. The Luneville factory was founded by Jacques Chambrette in 1728. It was purchased by Keller & Guerin in 1778.
This particular vase used a glaze called "metal shine" which created a golden or silver reflective surface. This vase has silvery large mushrooms, and small clouds on a copper background. A mid-19th century vase which looks like it is 21st century! Signed "K&C" and "Luneville" on the bottom in paint.
Vase measures only 3 inches in height....Top diameter is 2 inches and bottom diameter is 5 inches. It is widest at its center at 8 inches. Weight is 2 pounds 11 ounces
