Pair of Antique Ifugao Beige Mother-of-Pearl Hand-Etched Earrings


Pair of Antique South Pacific Mother-of-Pearl Earrings        Circa. 1900       South Pacific Islands

Extremely rare pair of earrings.   Made in the South Pacific during the turn of the 20th Century.   Beige mother of pearl disc with black hand-etched adornment   Ear wires are 14k yellow gold replacements of damaged brass wires.    The replacements are an exact copy of the original.    The wires attached to the mother-of-pearl dangles are all original. 

Ifugao is in the North Luzon Bontue Region of the Philippines.  

The discs measure 1 1/8 inches in diameter.   Each earring is 2 1/8 inches long with tassels.   10.9 g.    7.0 dwt
