Antique Oval Brass Photo Frame With Original Convex Glass

Antique Oval Brass Frame                   Circa. 1890-1900                 American

Oval brass frame with original bubble (convex) glass    Seems to have been hardly used as it's in great condition!   However, the glass does have a few tiny chips on the edge, but the chips are totally covered by the edge of the frame.   This kind of damage was common due to the fact the rounded glass was cut by hand.  

The frame measures  6 1/4 inches high      4 3/4 inches wide, at its widest    Total weight is 5.8 ounces.   The easel back sits 3 inches from the frame.
