Big and bold in appearance. Light in weight Cut-steel earrings from the turn of the 20th Century and end of the Victorian era. The sterling ear wires are a new replacement. The cut steel is in wonderful condition! Shimmers in the light….no defects whatsoever.
Cut steel earrings were in great demand during both the Georgian and Victorian eras The craftsmanship involved was of the highest order. First a form in metal had to be produced than holes added to accommodate the various shapes and tiny sizes of the riveted cut steel pieces.
Each earring measures 3.25 inches in length with ear wire Width is 1.50 inches Weight is 29.2 g.

I love my antique Victorian brooch it looks exactly like it was pictured it is well made the item matched the description just the back pin is a little loose probably because it is old but very beautiful brooch I am happy with it.
