A super large wonderful ring from the late Georgian or early Victorian era Unisex Back (top) of the ring is pinchbeck The shank is a newer replacement in vermeil (gold over sterling silver) The black stones are melanite, more commonly known as “black garnet” Melanite supposedly has qualities of purifying negative thoughts and adds to one’s creativity.
The face of the ring with its large center stone and round faceted smaller stones measures a full 1 1/4 inches in height x 7/8 inch in width x 1/4 inch in depth Weight is 13.5 g. 8.7 dwt

Beautiful piece! Matches photo perfectly. Seems very high quality, the necklace had some wear and tear but it is a vintage piece so this is to be expected

I love my antique Victorian brooch it looks exactly like it was pictured it is well made the item matched the description just the back pin is a little loose probably because it is old but very beautiful brooch I am happy with it.
