Pair of 19th C. Antique Chinese Export Custom Table Lamps – With Hand Blown & Hand Etched Cobalt Blue Glass – Silk Shades – Finials circa. 1890-1900 China

Nothing to compare with this rare and extraordinary pair of lamps which have been in one family’s possession since the 1930’s Originally made in China around the turn of the 20th century Hand blown Hand etched cobalt blue glass with cherry blossom branches and flowers. Hand-carved wood top caps and bottom bases. Original finials Black silk shades with gold liner are new The definition of “one-of-a-kind”

Condition. The lamps are in remarkable condition with the exception of one wood repair (hardly noticeable) at the base of one lamp (see photo) Also, a repair to one finial left it slightly off-center. It is functional and can be further repaired

The lamps measure 29 inches high to top of glass and metal finials The cobalt glass cylinders are 5 inches in diameter The shades are 9 inches high 12 inches in width at the bottom Switched on cord or by pull chain with each of two bulbs Each lamp weighs 7.1 pounds
