Edwardian Sterling Silver & Paste 17-Inch Riviere Necklace With Matching Bevelled Crystal Silver Locket Circa 1905 United Kingdom
Rare and absolutely exquisite necklace made during the early 20th century. The paste riviere necklace is flawless with 1/8 inch high quality round paste stones, all brilliant, bezel set by hand. The necklace can be used with or without the locket. The matching locket also has smaller round paste stones Unmarked but tested for silver. The necklace is 17 inches long and tests for sterling. The locket measures 2 inches high and 1 inch wide The crystal measures 3/4 inch high and 1/2 inch wide. Would take a small photo of that size The invisible hinge works perfectly. 26.0 g. 16.7 dwt
Please note that replicating the sterling silver necklace with the hand-set paste stones today would be impossible …..as it would be cost prohibitive. Each stone is set by hand in the silver cylinder with a tiny rim keeping the stone in place. Only with diamonds could this process be duplicated today.

Beautiful piece! Matches photo perfectly. Seems very high quality, the necklace had some wear and tear but it is a vintage piece so this is to be expected

I love my antique Victorian brooch it looks exactly like it was pictured it is well made the item matched the description just the back pin is a little loose probably because it is old but very beautiful brooch I am happy with it.
